This is the fourth poster that I have done for Music for Massey. The event is starting to really take off. This year it has moved to the snagajob.com Pavilion and will feature Chris Isaak. The concert benefits the VCU Massey Cancer Center.

2008 VADA Brochure

This is the first brochure that I designed for VADA. Currently I am working on this year’s which will be my third. No matter which way your political views lean, an old U.S. flag will stir some emotion. That is what makes it such an effective design element. One quarter of the brochure may appear upside down, however these were folded into quarters and mailed to members. So, when in the mail it would appear right side up.

VADA Postcards

Every now and then for the past two years I have been asked to design postcards extolling the virtues of becoming a member of VADA. The people I work with at the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys are great and have a sense of humor about their work which I think is often reflected in the work that I do for them. The past four years I have been happy to design the poster for the Music of Massey concert. The show raises money for the VCU Massey Cancer Center. Below is the 2009 poster. The 2010 poster should be posted in the next few weeks.

Christmas CD Cover

Every year I do two projects for the same client. One is a poster for the annual Music for Massey concert. The other is a cover for a Holiday CD which he hands out clients, friends and family every year. I look forward to both of these projects because music and the holidays are really fun and inspiring subjects. Below is the cover for the 2009 CD.

The O’Zone Brochure

The O’Zone is an after school daycare which focuses on middle school aged children. It features an impressive indoor sports facility and an even more impressive staff whose commitment to the kids is genuine. When The O’Zone as getting started last year they asked me to design a brochure. They wanted something that was eye catching and did not “talk down” to the kids. I used red and some texture to grab attention and then added some stars and happy pictures to add some fun to the brochure.
